currently increasing traffic chaos accounts for an awful lot of
wasted time in a vet's life. We can offer a more efficient service
to our clients if we carry out routine procedures at our home base.
We are developing a facility where horses and ponies can be kept
under veterinary supervision either post operatively, after injury,
or during illness in cases of non-contagious diseases.
Whilst
we do carry out procedures under general anaesthetic, we have
a close working relationship with more than one referral hospital
and their specialist surgical teams.
We can advise clients where to find the best expertise for complicated
surgical cases, arrange admission and transport and if necessary
care for the patient post operatively.
On
a day-to-day basis we offer vaccination clinics, comprehensive
dental care, lameness examination, medical examinations and examinations
for purchase and insurance. Please refer to 'services offered'
fore more detail.
It is extremely important to us that patients have a stress free
time. The yard is kept as quiet as possible during the day with
minimal equine coming and going. We listen carefully to owner's
requests and suggestions about likes and dislikes and try to accommodate
foibles if practical. Visiting is encouraged but is at specific
prearranged times to minimise upheaval and to make sure a member
of staff is on hand to talk to you. We have a loading bay to make
life easier.
