Beckey co-ordinates all the equine activity and is the voice at the end of the phone. She has worked at the practice since December 2001, and previously working at Shardeloes Farm Equestrian Centre as receptionist.

She has always showed a great interest in horses and has tried various different aspects of equestrianism including working at a carriage driving yard, a racing stable and looking after two Dartmoor stallions and preparing them for Mountain and Moorland showing and HOYS. She has even tried Western Riding.

Next step is to introduce you to her two horses and her pony: Tetuan an 19yo Spanish x Arab gelding who enjoys x-country, hacking, showing and sometimes dressage. (In her eyes the perfect pony). Poppy is a 6yo, 16.2hh ID X; she suffers from sarcoids and has recently returned from a trip Liverpool University to have a periocular sarcoid treated. When she is in work she enjoys hacking and jumping. She has hunted previously in Ireland.

Beckey has lived in Chesham all her life. When she is not looking after her horses and pony, her interests are Kick Boxing and Martial Arts.
