Pat Dale was
brought up on a small holding with pigs, sheep, and chickens as
well as his mother's homebred hunters. He competed in pony club
triathlon and still swims, runs and cycles. His daughters are keen
riders and have Dartmoor ponies. He qualified from Liverpool University
in 1986 and after two years in general practice joined Nick Bowen
in Tring.
He instigated the move to bigger premises and has built up a successful
small animal and equine surgery.
He specialises in soft tissue surgery. He will represent the practise
at the British Equine Veterinary Association congress this year.
He plays saxophone
in a rhythm and blues band and is a micro light pilot.
