| We are now using mammography film to enhance detail in lower limb x-rays. Whilst we are pleased with the results obtained we are always looking to improve and are 'keeping an eye' on digital radiography which is not generally available in practice. It uses computer technology to enhance images. X-rays are processed quickly and efficiently on site. We have our own radiation protection adviser (RPA) to ensure that health and safety issues are addressed and that the whole service operates safely. |
